Attorneys from all levels of practice experience are encouraged to attend this course and learn about the important role that paralegals can play in a law firm, government office or other legal settings. Investigate how to maximize the talents of your paralegal best to increase productivity. Discover and understand the role of paralegals, permissible work assignments and tasks that attorneys can ethically delegate, billable and non-billable tasks that a paralegal can perform while under the supervision of a lawyer, and the ethical aspects to consider. Learn simple and practical ways to ensure that your paralegal does not engage in the Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL).
