Consequences of Lawyer Misconduct

About This Course
Undignified or discourteous conduct is nearly always degrading to a tribunal. Some are concerned that utterances of profanities in the courtroom, once unthinkable, are repeatedly resulting in a coarsening legal environment. The role of zealous advocacy raises a host of questions as to what is acceptable in offering defenses. Materials include a disgraced former Michigan Supreme Court justice sentenced for fraud. Withholding exculpatory evidence is revisited with current updates. Is there a correlation between rogue police work and a record high of lawyer sanctions?
