Mastering eDiscovery: Key Skills for Attorneys

Electronic discovery (“eDiscovery”) is the process of finding and collecting electronic information for legal purposes. E-discovery skills are critical for lawyers because of the increasing volume of electronic data involved in legal cases today.

Technology, the ways in which people communicate and the methods businesses use to store data are all constantly evolving. Clients expect their lawyers to be proficient in handling the latest technologies, and understanding e-discovery can make a new attorney more effective, efficient, and valuable to their firm and clients in today’s increasingly digital litigation landscape.

This program will provide an explanation of eDiscovery and why it matters, a glimpse of eDiscovery Rules & Regulations, and an overview of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). In addition, you will learn how to develop and update your litigation strategy throughout the life of a matter and manage costs for your clients.

This program is intended for newly admitted and transitional attorneys.
