Icon About This Course

This webcast will analyze legal issues related to Trump Administration’s Executive Orders (EOs) impacting federal contractors, grant recipients, and subcontractors. Attorneys must be prepared to guide their contractor clients through the legal ramifications of the EOs, including the False Claims Act (FCA) and Contract Disputes Act (CDA). This CLE will provide practical insights and legal strategies to help contractors comply with evolving requirements, challenge unfavorable agency actions, and mitigate enforcement risks.

Participants will learn how executive orders impact federal contract administration, strategies for responding to agency enforcement, and legal options for contract disputes and FCA liability risks. The program will explore contract terminations, regulatory compliance obligations, and litigation trends, including FCA risks and CDA claims for financial recovery.

This course is designed for government contracts attorneys, in-house counsel for federal contractors and subcontractors, employment law practitioners, and compliance professionals advising on federal procurement and grant administration.

Participants should have a basic understanding of federal procurement law, but the course will provide detailed insights into contract enforcement, compliance risks, and litigation strategies.

Learning Objectives:

  • Analyze the legal impact of Trump’s Executive Orders on federal contractors, subcontractors, and grant recipients
  • Understand agency implementation measures, including contract terminations, funding justifications, and compliance certification requirements
