About The Lecturer
Eric Dixon has practiced law in state and federal courts in courts throughout New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado for almost forty years. He received his bachelor’s degree in History receiving the Board of Governors Medal for Highest G.P.A. among graduating History Majors along with the President’s medal for his academic and campus activities. He is a graduate of St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. He has spoken frequently at continuing legal education programs on trial practice. He has served as a special United States Attorney in New Mexico in the largest in-land narcotics seizures at the time. He has tried both criminal and civil cases in both state and federal courts. He has tried over a hundred cases to verdict in his career. He currently practices law in Eastern New Mexico.
