About The Lecturer
Helaine Hudson is a strategic legal and operations executive with 25+ years of subject matter expertise in corporate, business, and technology law and a track record of improving and scaling critical processes and workflows in various organizations.
Previously, Helaine was SVP & General Counsel for Operations & Technology at Nielsen and held various other roles at that organization. Prior to Nielsen, Helaine was General Counsel of several privately held startups and rapid growth companies. She started her career in the Corporate department of Proskauer Rose.
Helaine has a JD from Brooklyn Law School, where she graduated Magna cum Laude. Before lawyering, Helaine was a paralegal in the Sex Crimes and Special Victims Unit of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office as well as a caterer.
She is the author of Guess the Verdict, Over 100 Clever Courtroom Quizzes to Test Your Legal Smarts, Sterling Publishing.
Helaine lives in Devon, England, with her husband, Tim. She volunteers for the Little Valley RSPCA as a Board Trustee and supports their online Vinted shop, which helps fund the charity.
