About The Lecturer
Betsy Moran, a partner in the Denver office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C., has practiced post-trial and appellate law in the state and federal courts of Colorado for over 30 years. As lead counsel, she has briefed and argued well over 130 cases to the Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court (original and certiorari proceedings) the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, as well as pre- and post-trial proceedings in the district courts involving a broad range of civil litigation issues, including medical negligence, products liability, age discrimination, Section1983/civil rights claims, premises liability, insurance law, personal injury, HOA law, and real property rights.
Betsy received her J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law (Order of the Coif), and a B.A. degree in economics from Northwestern University. She is admitted to practice before all state courts of Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
