About The Lecturer

Abam Mambo is an employment lawyer, organizational culture expert, and global keynote speaker. She helps leaders, brands, and organizations unleash the power of belonging as a key business driver and culture enabler.

She created the Belonging Quotient® (BQ), a philosophy and framework that helps leaders, brands, and organizations leverage belonging to advance their strategy on people, performance, and purpose. The BQ measures how well people feel seen, heard, valued, and respected in a culture of belonging, which enables them to perform at their best for the common good. She provides training, consultation, and coaching, as well as keynotes on belonging, leadership, speak-up, diversity, and inclusion based on her BQ model.

Abam has 15+ years of experience working in and partnering with AmLaw 100 firms, SMEs, Fortune 50 companies, and Global 500 companies in North America, Africa and Asia. Her expertise spans employment law, corporate compliance, HR and management consulting, anti-bribery and corruption, workplace investigations, and mergers and acquisitions. She is a trusted C-suite advisor, pragmatic HR business partner, and people leader who has held regional director-level roles in Legal, Compliance, and Investigations at Microsoft and GlaxoSmithKline. She was also an employment litigator at Littler and Faegre Baker Daniels (previously Faegre & Benson).

She is an authentic, engaging speaker and an excellent storyteller who has spoken in over 25 cities on four continents to organizations including the World Health Organization, GlaxoSmithKline, LEGO APAC, BNY Mellon, IHH Healthcare, Mace, ADM, Deere, and Yara.
