About The Lecturer

Christina Ricotta represents real estate owners, developers and investors in acquisitions, dispositions, leases, financing arrangements, and general real estate matters.

ACQUISITION, DEVELOPMENT AND GENERAL REAL ESTATE

  • I assist clients with many aspects of general real estate transactions—including acquisition, disposition and development of commercial land and multifamily properties; property diligence reviews; residential and commercial/retail leases; land use and easement agreements and real estate joint ventures. I also assist clients with complex debt and equity arrangements (e.g., construction lending and arrangements utilizing state and federal low-income housing tax credits and historic tax credits).

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

  • I represent a major asset manager for institutional investors in the sale of its investments in affordable housing communities financed with low-income housing tax credits, as well as negotiate purchase and sale agreements for the sale of its limited partner interests in such communities. I also help owners of multifamily housing, located in Massachusetts, navigate state oversight of such properties, particularly with respect to the termination notice and disposition approval requirements of M.G.L. c. 40T.

SENIOR HOUSING

  • As a member of the Seniors Housing team, I represent facility owners and operators in various leasing and financing transactions.
