April Abele Isaacson is the Managing Partner of Kilpatrick Townsend’s San Francisco office. April focuses on complex technical IP litigation and Hatch-Waxman cases. She has over 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer and is a registered U.S. patent attorney. She has a diverse experience in private practice and as in-house IP counsel. She started her career as a criminal prosecutor and defense attorney for the U.S. Navy. Outside her legal practice, April is the Founding Editor of MEMO blog and is the Founder and Co-Host of Sidebars, a podcast featuring leading women and other underrepresented groups in patent law.
