About This Course
Effective communication is essential in the legal profession, especially when interacting with clients, colleagues, the judiciary, and other legal professionals. This course focuses on developing the necessary skills to communicate effectively with individuals from various generational backgrounds. Participants will gain insights into the unique characteristics, preferences, and communication styles of different generations, enabling them to tailor their communication approaches accordingly in the legal profession.
Through practical strategies and real-life examples, this course aims to enhance participants' ability to build strong professional relationships and deliver exceptional legal services across generational boundaries.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop an understanding of the essential characteristics of generational differences and their effect on communication
- Analyze and differentiate the distinguishing characteristics of generation Z, generation X, Millennials and Baby Boomers
- Understand the basic communication milestones in the law-client relationship
- Apply knowledge of generational differences to various communication milestones in their attorney-client relationship to improve communication

In 2020, she was awarded the Bucks County Community College “Above and Beyond Award.” She also serves as Program Director of the Bucks County Community College Paralegal Program and Paralegal Program Coordinator. Her course concentration includes Torts, Civil Litigation, Business Law, and Insurance and Risk Management. As an attorney, she represented major department stores, national drugstore chains, and manufacturers of large-scale construction equipment.
