Family law cases are extremely emotionally draining for the client and attorney alike. Knowing what to expect and having a thorough understanding of how these cases proceed through the court system can help you manage your client’s expectations and emotions.

This program will cover a macro overview of how different sections of family law proceed through the court system with practical points dealing with the support process. The program will then cover the details relating to the establishment and enforcement of final agreements, domestic violence, custody, and divorce.

This course is designed for attorneys new to family law practice or experienced attorneys from other practices that need to understand the family court system and how a case proceeds.

Chris Little Simcox, Esquire, has practiced in all areas of family law, wills, trusts, guardianships, estate administration, and bankruptcy for the past 25 years. She is licensed to practice both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She was employed for several years at the Bucks County Domestic Relations Section as a hearing officer and then as an establishment supervisor.
