In this program, attorneys will learn techniques for clarifying their writing, enabling them to best represent their clients. Stu Milch, an attorney who has briefed and argued more than one hundred appeals to state and federal courts nationwide, shares his strategies for drafting strong legal writing. Attorneys in attendance will leave with a fortified understanding of how to write compelling and readable briefs. The course emphasizes the implementation of citations in legal writing, preparing attorneys to correctly back up their arguments. This program also discusses when to request oral argument, and how to prepare for oral argument.

Attorneys of all levels are encouraged to attend this course to sharpen their legal writing and oral argument skills.
