This Course
Bankruptcy attorneys from all levels of experience, or those attorneys who may encounter these proceedings, are encouraged to attend this program and learn how to effectively take and prosecute appeals from orders and judgments of bankruptcy courts. Discussions will include recent developments, taking appeals from a judgment or order of a bankruptcy court, navigating the complex court structure of bankruptcy appeals, and advanced strategies and practice tips that you can immediately apply into your practice!

Reno Fernandez joined the Complex Appellate Litigation Group as its first bankruptcy appellate specialist in 2022. Reno is certified as a specialist in bankruptcy law by the State Bar of California Board of Specialization. He was a partner with Macdonald Fernandez LLP for ten of his fifteen years of practice in commercial bankruptcy litigation.
