Professionalism Ideals for Attorneys
About This Course
This course discusses the principles of professionalism and gives an overarching definition and a thorough evaluation of its core elements. Being a "good" attorney is not merely a mastery of the raw skill sets and knowledge of the law and its unique elements. Without a strong grasp and adherence to Professionalism, a conceptually "good" attorney, who has a strong mastery of the law and its proceedings, can nevertheless harm their client, their firm, themselves, and even the legal system as a whole. This course aims to provide attorneys with a deep understanding of professionalism and the challenges and conflicting circumstances that may arise in opposition to it.
Learning Objectives:
- Acquiring an Understanding of Professionalism
- Analyzing the Key Components of Professionalism and their Application
- Discussing the Pressing Challenges to Professionalism and its Enforcement
- Connecting Professionalism and a Lawyer’s Sense of Fulfillment
