How to Take Charge of Your Law Practice: Ethically and Effectively
About This Course
While an attorney may have mastered the substantive aspect of their practice area, they may not have yet developed the skills to run an effective and ethical practice. This program focuses on two critical areas: effective delegation techniques and how to develop strong and lasting relationships with clients through exemplary service. Lawyers and staff at all levels will benefit from the techniques explored in this program.
Learning how to delegate effectively will allow attorneys to leverage their own talents and improve workplace outcomes. Attendees will also learn how to avoid violating the rules of professional conduct in this arena, with a focus on MRPC 5.1 and 5.3. Special tips will be provided for Micromanagers, Procrastinators, and their victims. Developing relationships with your clients will ultimately result in more meaningful representation and translate into more business through referrals from practical clients. We will discuss systems to implement that will ensure a smooth and satisfying client experience.
Veteran attorney and seasoned speaker Cynthia Sharp, Esq. will share core concepts, sample conversations, and time-tested processes that will help you and your staff improve connections with your clients AND remain ethically compliant.
