Guiding Your Clients on Operationalizing Corporate Social Responsibility
About This Course
This course evaluates the origins and current developments in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as it has impacted multinational enterprises (MNEs) and their decision-making relative to all stakeholders: especially shareholders, communities, consumers, employees, activists, and governments worldwide in the 21st Century. Multinational Enterprises (MNE’s) operate in a competitive global space, including an increasingly robust regulatory architecture.
The program examines challenges faced by multinational firms related to issues such as selecting a responsible foreign business partner, and the institutional support of the federal government offered through the U.S. Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, socially responsible investing (SRI), including impact investing, and investment screen, and external accrediting bodies to ensure corporate voluntary compliance with CSR measurable standards.
