New Jersey Domestic Violence and Divorce
About
This Course
Ms. Maddox goes through every aspect of the divorce process in new jersey when domestic violence is alleged, including but not limited to the contentious issue of child custody. Evidence of domestic violence almost always impacts child custody. If a spouse is abusive to a child or to another person in front of the child, that spouse is less likely to gain custody of his or her children. In most jurisdictions, it hurts the abusive spouse’s custody chances even if the Domestic violence occurs without the children’s knowledge. Ms. Maddox is engaging and thought-provoking. She encourages discussions and teaches the course in a manner that is suitable for any newly admitted new jersey attorney, whether actively practicing family law, or not, there is knowledge to gain from ms. Maddox’s expertise in this field.
