Intellectual Property, consisting of copyrights, trademarks, and patents, are valuable to all types of companies.

The pandemic forced many companies to create a stronger online presence and provide services over the internet to serve the customer base and attract new customers. A company’s intellectual property (IP) protects a company’s online resources as well as other assets, and should be treated as a valuable asset. Attendees of this course will learn the basics of IP types and the protection each type offers, how to identify IP within a company, and how IP is beneficial to a company.

Attorneys interested in working at a private company or advising private companies in general corporate matters should attend this course. The course is designed as a basic introductory course for attorneys with little to no experience in IP law.
