Understanding the Kentucky CLE Requirement
Total CLE Requirement:
12 credit hours annually
Credit Format:
All 12 credits can be completed through our online, on-demand courses.
As of July 2018 attorneys may claim unlimited non-live technologically transmitted credits each educational year (online, DVD, CD, video and audio format).

2 hours Ethics
Compliance Deadline:
June 30

August 10
Reporting Information:
Attorneys are required to self-report to Kentucky on The Kentucky Bar Association portal.
Newly Admitted Requirement:
New admittees must complete the Kentucky Bar Association’s “New Lawyer Program” within 12 months following their date of admission.
