Understanding the Arkansas CLE Requirement
Total CLE Requirement:
12 credit hours annually
Credit Format:
Online and Live
Credits can be completed online, through TRTCLE's on-demand courses; or live, through TRTCLE's teleconferences.
Credit Breakdown:
General: 11 hours
Ethics/Professionalism: At least 1 hour
Compliance Deadline:
June 30th
Reporting Deadline:
July 31st
Reporting Information:
Arkansas is a self-reporting jurisdiction. Attorneys can submit their Certificates of Attendance to the Arkansas Supreme Court Office of Professional Programs or through the Arkansas Attorney portal.
Attorneys may carry over 12 credits, including 1 Ethics credit.
Newly Admitted Requirement:
New admittees will complete their first CLE requirement during the reporting period immediately following the reporting period in which they are admitted.
