Understanding the Arizona CLE Requirement
Total CLE Requirement:
15 credit hours annually
Credit Format:
All credits may be completed online.
Credit Breakdown:
12 hours General
3 hours Ethics/Professional Responsibility
Compliance Deadline:
June 30th

September 15th
Reporting Information:
Arizona is a self-reporting jurisdiction. Attorneys must certify their attendance each educational year by June 30th. Attorneys can submit their affidavit online via the State Bar of Arizona's website.
Attorneys may carry over 15 credit hours, including 3 Ethics hours.
Newly Admitted Requirement:
New admittees registered from July to December have a reduced requirement: 8 General hours and 2 Ethics hours.
New admittees registered from January to June do not have a CLE requirement for that year.
